Benjamin Masse approaches guitar playing with an eye on both the technical and the conceptual dimensions. He understands that, though musical style is key, it needs a meaning, as well as the technical skill to be promoted. He has a formal training in both classical and jazz guitar. He is also known in Montreal as an accomplished self-taught flamenco and progressive rock guitarist. As the president of SOPREF and through Web projects in partnership with NetMusik, Faites de la musique, Coursdemusique, MUSIQ, and Mapintel, he has in his turn supported the Montreal music scene and its self-promoted artists. Allan Kinney brings a classical and jazzy touch into electronica music. Allan`s orientation in music has always been toward performance in every sense. From his early experience with classical performances through his years as a rock keyboardist in Montreal and elsewhere, he has found the meaning of his music in his audiences. As a result, he considers the technology of his synthesizer as an extension of the keyboard itself - a device for on-the-spot audience gratification.
